Russian Gosfilmofond
Gosfilmofond of Russia has the largest and one of the world's best cinematic collection with about 70 000 titles of movies and documentaries at 967 000 reels of film material - from silent pictures of the Lumiere brothers filmed in France in 1895 to modern works of Russian and foreign cinematographists, which are the masterpieces of visual history.
According to the order of the Soviet government construction of Gosfilmofond began and it was built as the All-Union Film Storage in 1936-1937's. In 1957 Gosfilmofond became a member of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF). In 1997 Gosfilmofond was placed into the Guinness Book of Records as one of the three largest film archives of the world with one of the largest film collections which consists of more than 60 000 titles.

Central State Archive of Audiovisual Documents of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the largest audiovisual archives of the Volga region.
The purposeful work on preservation of archival film documents, digitize and organize their archives, provided the opportunity to present the project net-film unique historical archive funds.
Center of national film
Centre of National Film is a cessionary of the world-famous nonfiction film studio, whose films were awarded with prestigious international prizes. The new governing body of the Studio is planning on expanding the specialization of the enterprise in several directions: feature films, animation, documentary and popular science films. The history of CNF started in 1933.More than 10 thousand popular scientific, educational, advertising, and feature films were created on film-studio Centernauchfilm. These films were highly acclaimed not only in our country but widely abroad as well.
